Awesome Ways To Rock Your Hair With Your Glasses or Shades

Who doesn't love to wear Sunnies just to showcase your dope swagger?
Many ladies have confessed to me that they love to wear sun shades but are scared of how to pull it off. Here I am once again to your rescue to show you how to pull off ta sunshade or reading glasses with the perfect hair style.

BRAIDS

Who doesn't love it when Alisha Keys steps out with her braids? Want to rock those braids but confused on which Sunnies to use? Aviator glasses to the Rescue! These Sunnies have a way of making you look like a super star.

SIDE PART
Pardon me this time cos I dont know what to call these hotness she is wearing on her face. I  guess since i can't call them the Wayfarer Sunnies, i'll have to skip that part, but that sunshade is hot for days. For all the sisters with long Brazilian, Peruvian and unadulterated Indian Hair, this hair style and sunshade should be best for a girls hang out or casual date or outing.

CAT EYE
Since the days of Merylyn Monroe, the cat eye glasses has come to stay and has evolved over time. What better way to rock them babies other then to let down your fancy weave to accentuate the contours of your face,

SIDE FRINGE
The side fringe is a very nice hair style that goes perfectly well with the nerd glasses. You can either have your hair clipped together in a pony tail or bun it up(doughnut... lol, Naija slangs). Let the side fringe and the nerd glasses give your face that awesome look..

SIDE CLIP
For my sisters that would never let a stylist bring a razor or scissors near that extremely expensive hair of theirs, this hair style can go. Just take the one side of that long hair of yours, twist it a little and clip it to the back of your head, put on some shades and have a wonderful day.

MESSY HAIR + CAT EYE = DOPE
If they were anything like Dopest, I would tag this. Well, its a simple clip your hair to the back, let some hair drop in front from a side part, put on a cat eye sun shade or glasses and you are good to go.

HOW TO CURL YOUR NATURAL AFRICAN HAIR WITHOUT HEAT

Ok, so I just got my braids out and i thought, "O! i can rock this to work just like this", and trust me, i did just that.
After i got board of wearing my braids out to work for sometime i started searching for ways to curl, style and rock my natural African hair without using heat(rollers, flattening or thonging machine).Hence i'm going to share with you the easiest ways to curl and style your natural hair(permed or not) that i have discovered and tried, DIY style with pictures and videos.

1. BANTU KNOTS
This to me is one very popular and well known hairstyle in Nigeria, Africa and the World at large. Most people will look at it as "A Timid Girl's Hairstyle", but to me its the bomb. lol. I know most people wouldn't want to be seen walking around wearing bantu knots but trust me the end products is Ah-May-Zin! so try this out during the weekend and let me know how it turned out.

2. TWIST OUTS

Twist outs are the bomb, cos you can use extensions to augment in cases where you want, but in this case styling our natural African hair without heat is our goal, so we just have to do this without the extensions.so its as simple as ABC... just take the quantity of hair you want(depending on the size you want your curls, then twist them. Take down the twists after a few days or nights, and enjoy your curly wavy hair.

3. FLEXI RODS

Oh, Yes! Flexi rods popularly known as "Brazilian Rollers" in Nigeria, obviously cos it gained popularity when the Brazilian hair bug bit most ladies in Nigeria. Well, one thing am sure most of you didnt know is that these flexi rods can be used to style damp or semi-wet hair. How big and chunky or skinny your curls come out depends on how much hair ou take per portion and how fat the flexi rod you use is. Well, now you know. so try it out and let me know the outcome.

4. BRAID OUTS
Just as the name implies, this is a simple style, where braids are loosened and rocked just like a weave or wig. Its that easy and simple, just braid your natural hair either flat(corn rows, isi aka, patewo, etc. lol), the loosen them after a few days or even a night depending on how intense the products you used are... viola! You're rocking a new style of natural hair turned weave. Yes!

5. FLAT TWIST OUTS
This to me is also a very fascinating stuff to do. Its like the regular twists or twisting we know, just that this time its twisted flat on the head not single(hope you understand me). Well this style if well done can we worn as a style on its own, then be sure to loosen them carefully so as to rock your twist outs well. find a video on how to do this attached bellow

Simple Home Remedies To Treat Vaginal Odour

‎On Wednesday I was to give a talk/lecture/speech(call it what you like) somewhere.
As I sat at the venue waiting to be called up to speak, a Very young and attractive lady walked past me.
Guess what? I just couldn't breathe cos she stunk like a dead rotten fish. Hence! My topic for today.

Many of us women feel so embarrassed to talk about our problems and issues with personal hygiene. Some of us even feel so embarrassed and uncomfortable talking about to to certified Doctors and health workers as well. We'd rather mask it down by using lots of perfumes and deodorants.

Well, my beloved sisters, I'm here to tell you it should not be so. ;)

There are different causes of bad feminine smell, which includes:
-Bad vagina bacteria
-Overgrowth of bacteria in the vagina
-Vaginal yeast infection
-Candida yeast infection
-Bacterial vaginosis
Amongst others.

‎Bad vaginal odour is often associated with the following warning signals:
- Itchiness in the vaginal area
- Fishy smell
- Redness
-Rusty smell

Want a Home Remedy for this problem?
1. A CUP OF YOGHURT A DAY, KEEPS THE ODOUR AWAY.

Simply have two cups of unsweetened yoghurt(Habib, Aqua Rapha, Nagari etc) a day, preferably with meals to restore the normal pH in the vagina. Another yoghurt option you can try is soaking one tampon in plain yogurt and inserting the soaked tampon into your body. Remove tampon after 2–3 hours and use clean water to rinse that area thoroughly or better still, you can leave it overnight but make sure you remove it in the morning.

2. AVOID SILK AND TIGHT FITTING PANTIES LIKE PLAGUE
‎I know ladies love silky and tight fitting panties cos If makes them feel sexier. Avoid wearing them as it
can lead to excessive perspiration or trapping of urine hence causing odour. Cos just as your body, your privates need to breathe as well. Thus, you must give up wearing silky and tight fitting panties like thong right away instead, grab some cotton panties.

3. TEA TREE OIL REMEDY
Mix a few drops of year tree oil in a small bowl of warm water. Use the solution to rinse your vagina once daily for 3-4weeks. Or you can drop a few drops of this oil in water, soak yourself in it for 30minutes 2-3 times in a week till you perceive a noticeable difference in smell.

4. GARLIC HELPS KILL ODOUR
Garlic is a natural antibiotic that can cure the infection and deodorants for vagina.
- You can eat raw garlic or add them in the daily dishes.
- You can take garlic pills or peel the fresh garlic, wrap it and insert it into the vagina.
This remedy to me seems like the simplest one.

5. BAKING POWDER/SODA
Baking powder helps bring your pH levels back to normal. Drop a few teaspoons of baking powder in your bath and soak in it for about 20 minutes. Or Add a teaspoon of baking powder in a glass of
warm water and drink it each day, till you notice an obvious difference in the way you smell.

6. SOAP ISN'T THE BEST OPTION
I'll always advice any young lady to avoid using soap as much as possible especially antiseptic or anti bacterial soaps as these soaps in the bid to kill the bad bacteria in the vagina changes the pH of the vagina thereby giving bad bacterias room to thrive. Just plain water is Ok. Anyways, if you cannot do without washing with soap i suggest you avoid perfumed soaps and you use plain unscented soaps like Dove, Zest Aqua or even the very popular and affordable premier soap Milk bar(white).

7. WASH GENITAL AREAS AFTER USING THE LOO
Please, please and please, always remember to wash your genitals after going to pee cos urine if not washed of can make the genitals wet, causing odour or even gibing rise to a yeast infection. some may say, its too irky or gets your genitals wet, well you can wash it once you get home from the market, work or any activities that may have caused heavy perspiration.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES

Well, for my beloved sisters that don't have that condition yet, or for the sisters who have survived this dilemma, here are some of the measures to take note of to avoid the occurrence or re-occurrence of vaginal odour.
(i)   Reduce your daily intake of sugary foods
(ii)  Always wear cotton panties and avoid silky, netty or tight fitting undies.
(iii) Change your sanitary poads, napkins, towels and tampons frequently.
(iv) Avoid douching
(v)  Avoid hot baths as it can kill important bacterias in your vagina.
